Edmonton weather: Wetter weather makes sweater better

A look at today's Edmonton weather by Environment Canada.

Monday morning temperatures at the Edmonton Blatchford station measured 10.5 C with winds blowing at 12 km/h out of the west.

If you like rain you're in luck because it looks like we'll get plenty of it over the next four days, and you know what, I'm OK with it. If anything, it should help cool down the house after a couple hot, muggy days this weekend. It's a good morning to crack open the window a little to get that fresh air in your lungs, break out a warm sweater and sip some coffee and/or tea. Not bad at all, actually.

The rain should let up later this morning and we are expected to reach a high of 21 C with some sun. My lawn is eternally grateful. Though, I imagine the mosquitoes are, too. Dang it.
